My friend Charlie died a few weeks ago. His funeral was yesterday. My next project will be bigger than ever, it’s going to become an event. I am hoping to work with Trudy and friends of his for ideas, and help on the project. We want to raise money for a charity, probably Surrey Street Angels, and raise awareness for the dangers of recreational drugs (like Trudy says in this interview, not to stop people from having a good time, but to make them think twice before they do something).
This project will be a tribute to Charlie. I don’t want to gain any money, I just want to do something that grabs people’s attention, show people that there’s a lot to lose, but I want Charlie’s life to inspire the project. I think street art & the whole skating scene will be a theme that is the main influence.
