Before I went to fashion week, I thought I’d do some last minute research on the designers I had tickets to see. Having background knowledge really helped me understand where the designers Virginia Ferreira & Chris Neuman were coming from. It’s clear to see that the statement pieces they have created use bold prints & the right cuts to enhance a woman’s assets and individual personality whilst keeping up with recent trends.
With their brand vision based around a modern woman of elegence, sophistication and femininity, it’s clear to see they stick well to their customer profile, and they’re continuing to be inspired too.
Going on from AW12 trends, lapels, fur, contrasting textures, bold prints and rich colours seem to be in the highlights of this season. Although the lapels are lengthened to look like an outter petticoat, if you like, which could add a new twist to this season, possibly? Big, bright and bold prints seem to be as beautiful and stylish as ever, giving a daring and exciting persona to each model. The headpieces hold a clear statement of hiding the face and letting the clothes speak for themselves.
I’m actually really inspired by this collection, already London Fashion Week has me buzzing, blogging and getting ready for more!
